Nautical

For those: who love salt in the air, water in-site, and space for your guests to explore

  • Bellingham Cruise Terminal
    Indoor-only on the water in historic Fairhaven. Beautiful views of Bellingham Bay. From $900 (on a Friday or Saturday in the off-season) up to $2,420 (in peak season on a Saturday) for the day. Can host up to 200 guests.
  • Moondance Inn (Bed and Breakfast)
    Located on Lake Whatcom just 12 minutes from downtown Bellingham. Overnight accommodations available. Can rent the entire inn. Capacity unknown. Must contact for pricing.
  • Squalicum Boathouse
    Indoor building at Zuanich Point Park with stunning views of Bellingham Bay and Lummi Island. Has a full kitchen and pre-qualified list of caterers. Can host up to 100 guests. Pricing ranges from $400 for half-days (8am to 4pm) in the off-season to $1,900 in the peak-season for full-day rentals (8am-midnight).
  • Squalicum Yacht Club
    This indoor facility off of South Harbor Loop  includes ample free parking, an outdoor deck, kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, range, and oven. Your rental includes use of twelve tables and 70 chairs for a maximum of 70 guests. Must contact for pricing.

 


Hotels

For those: who want to keep the party going all weekend long – guests and newlyweds can stay on-site

  • The Chrysalis Inn & Spa
    Indoor only space located near train tracks between historic Fairhaven and downtown Bellingham. Boasts stunning views of Bellingham Bay for a maximum of 75 guests. Catering provided by Keenan’s at the Pier on-site. Must contact for pricing.
  • Hotel Bellwether
    Indoor and outdoor options that overlook Bellingham Bay and the San Juan Islands. Can host up to 250 guests, depending on indoor and outdoor options. Must contact for pricing.
  • Semiahmoo Resort, Golf, and Spa
    Various indoor and outdoor options. Located just 45 min south of Vancouver, BC, and 35 min north of downtown Bellingham. Can host up to 500 guests. Offers on-site catering or has list of preferred wedding vendors. Offers multiple wedding packages. Must contact for pricing – likely the most expensive on our list.

Rustic Barns

For those: who are more diy-ers and may prefer cowboy boots to heels

  • Anderson Acres
    A 5,000 square foot, 3 level barn with full-kitchen on 5 acres. About a 25 min drive from downtown Bellingham. Capacity unknown. Must contact for pricing.
  • Woodstock Farms
    Rental includes access to field overlooking San Juan Islands, a historic house, and an old barn. Located off Chuckanut Drive, requires shuttle service for parking. Capacity unknown. Must contact for pricing.

Gardens

For those: who love greenery and a more hands-on approach to decorating

  • Axton Events Bellingham
    Outdoor only option located 10 min north of Bellingham. Rental includes white canopies to shade from the elements and polished, outdoor dance floor. Can host up to 150 guests. Must contact for pricing.
  • Glen Echo Garden
    A botanical garden 20 min from downtown Bellingham. Rental includes outdoor, covered kitchen. Wheelchair access throughout the garden available. Capacity unknown. Must contact for pricing.

Downtown Bellingham Wedding Venues

For those: who are likely to keep the after party going at a nearby bar

  • Depot Market Square
    Outdoor covered space in the heart of downtown Bellingham. Time restrictions (only available after 5pm) on Saturdays, April to December due to Farmers Market. Up to $1,300 for all day rental. Tables and chairs not provided. Capacity unknown.
  • Whatcom Museum Lightcatcher Building
    Indoor space located in downtown Bellingham. Rental time may be limited from 12 to 5pm due to being a public space. Can host up to 300 guests. Prices range from $300 to $2,700. Caterers must be pre-approved by staff and no kitchen or prep space is available. Does have elevator.

Manors

For those: looking for an elegant space, requiring little to no decorating on your part

  • Lairmont Manor
    Century-old, Italian Renaissance-style estate located outside of historic Fairhaven and 10 min from downtown Bellingham. Provides indoor and outdoor options and can host up to 300 people. Must contact for pricing.
  • Roeder Home
    Located just outside of downtown Bellingham. Is on prestigious National Register of Historic Places. For standing reception, allows for 125 guests or 50 for sitting. Limited kitchen use. Likely the most affordable on the list but charges for special event site visit and application review. Must contact for pricing.

Banquet Halls

For those: who are more budget-minded with guests traveling from afar

  • Baker Creek Place
    Indoor with outdoor patio overlooking Baker Creek. Can host up to 200 people. All day banquet room rental is $900 or $1,250 for full-building rental.
  • Broadway Hall
    Historic building on the outskirts of downtown Bellingham offering gorgeous sunset scenes and view of the San Juan Islands. Can host up to 300 guests. $1,500 -1,800 for full-day rental.
  • Fox Hall
    Hall has incredibly easy access to freeway and is 15 min from downtown Bellingham. Three wedding packages available. Can host up to 250 guests. Must contact for pricing.
  • Northwood Hall
    Indoor hall with easy access to freeway and ample parking. Can host up to 300 guests. Must contact for pricing.

Ballrooms

For those: who love live music, dancing, and decorating it their way

  • Crystal Ballroom at The Leopold
    Located in downtown Bellingham. Rental includes chairs, tables, changing suites, and access for wedding rehearsal. Can host up to 200 guests. Charges $180 hourly or up to $1,980 for a full-day, Friday through Sunday.
  • The Majestic Ballroom
    Located in downtown Bellingham with high ceilings and oak floors, perfect for dancing. Rental includes stage for live music, sound system, tables, chairs, podium, and more. Second ballroom downstairs available for additional space. Can host up to 450 guests. Rentals start at $500 Monday – Thursday starting at 6pm to $1,400 Friday – Saturday starting at 10am.
  • The YWCA Ballroom
    Located in downtown Bellingham. Can host up to 120 guests. Table settings and utensils must be provided by event organizer. Must contact for pricing.

Golf Courses

  • Bellingham Golf and Country Club
    Easy access to the freeway, 10 minutes from downtown Bellingham. Indoor and outdoor options. Can host up to 200 guests. On-site catering. Must contact for pricing.

    Outdoor space with views of Mount Baker, 10 minutes from downtown Bellingham. Can host up to 225 guests. Full-service catering and bar. Must contact for pricing.
